Chap. 1075.—An ACT appropriating the sum uf $2,000.00 to the prison asso-
ciation of Virginia, and the sum of $1,000.00 to the negro reformatory
association of Virginia for the fiscal year 1900.

Approved March 7, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
sum of two thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated
to the prison association of Virginia for the purpose of paying off the
debts and obligations of said association and freeing its property from
lien, and the sum of one thousand dollars to the negro reformatory
association of Virginia for the purpose of erecting necessary buildings
for the accommodation of persons committed to its custody, said appro-
priations to be made out of moneys in the treasury not otherwise

appropriated for the fiscal year nineteen hundred: provided, that full
reports be made to the general assembly by said associations, respec-
tively, of the expenditure of their said appropriations.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
