Chap. 973.—An ACT for the relief of Marion M. Seay, a disabled Confederate
soldier.
Approved March 4, 1898.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the auditor
of public accounts shall place Marion M. Seay on the pension list as en-
titled to receive a pension of fifteen dollars a year on account of being
rendered helpless and unable to support himself from disease and disa-
bility contracted and incurred in the military service of the Confederate
States during the civil war. But before said Marion M. Seay shall be
entitled to be so listed, he shall establish the above facts by adequate
proof before the county court of Fluvanna county, and file the same with
the said auditor of public accounts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
