Chap. 911.—An ACT to provide for the collection by the clerk of the corporation
courts certain fees of the commissioner of the revenue in the city of Nortolk,
and for the payment of the same to the comnugssioner of the revenue by the
clerk.

Approved March 3, 1898.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That in the city
of Norfolk the transfer fee to the commissioner of the revenue for said
city for making an entry transferring to one person land, before charged
to another, shall be one doll: ar, to be collected by the clerk of the corpo-
ration court of said city at the time of recording the decd; and the clerk,
at the time of placing the list of transfers in the hands of the commis-
sioner, shall account to him for the fees so collected, deducting therefrom
a commission of ten per centum for his services.

2. All acts or parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.

3. This act shall be in furce from its passage.
