Chap. 89.—An ACT to regulate the killing, capturing, hunting, buying, selling, or
offering for sale, any partridges (or quail) in the counties of Cumberland, Ches-
terficld and Powhatan.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful to kill, capture, hunt, buy, sell, or offer for sale, anv part-
ridges (or quail) in the counties of Cumberland, Chesterfield and Pow-
hatan between the first day of February and the fifteenth day of Octo-
ber in each year.
2. Anv person violating the provisions of this act shall be held guilty
of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than five dollars nor mort
than twenty dollars, or be imprjsoned for not more than thirty days fo1
each offence.
3. This act shall be in foree from its passage.
