Chap. 875.—An ACT for the relief of certain Confederate soldiers and widows of
Confederate soldiers.

Whereas the general assembly of Virginia has passed, and will pass,
various acts prescribing, in each case, the evidence to be furnished, and
the certificates to be obtained, and the amount to. be paid by and to the
therein disabled Confederate ‘soldiers, and widows of soldiers, and the
prerequisites to a place upon the pension roll of this state: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, that each soldier,
and widow of a soldier, who shall have filed with the auditor of public
accounts of this state the certificate from the proper court showing that
the requirements of the individual act passed for his or her benefit have
been complied with, shall be paid the amount therein set out and pro-
vided in said individual act, and the said auditor is directed and em-
powered to make these payments.
