1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the Nor
folk and Atlantic terminal company shall have, and is hereby granted
the right to commence the construction of its toll bridge over Tanner’:
creek within two years from and after the passage of this act: provided.
however, that if the said toll bridge be commenced within the said twe
vears, it shall be completed within five vears from and after the passag
»f this act.

2. Allacts or parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
