Chap. 524.—An ACT authorizing the city conneil of Radford city to make an al-
lowanee for the clerk of the hustings court of said city.

Approved February 28, 1898.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the city
council of the corporation of Radford city, be, and they are hereby,
.uthorized and enipowered to pay the clerk of the corporation or hust-
nes court of the said city of Radford an annual salary of not less than
wo hundred and fifty dollars.

2. T hat the city, clerk of said city council be instructed and directed

upon the said city of Radford, and collected as other salaried officers’
pay is collected, as provided by law.

3. This act shall be in force and take effect from January first, eighteen
hundred and ninety-eight.
