Chap. 485.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 366 of the code of Virginia it
relation to the term of enlistment.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sectio
three hundred and sixty-six of the code of Virginia be amended and re
enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 366. The term of enlistment shall be three years; but any soldie
who has received an honorable discharge by reason of the expiration c
his term of service may be re-enlisted and mustered in and fora term c
one, two or three years, as he may elect. All terms of service sha
commence at noon on the day of enlistment.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
