Chap. 327.—An ACT to authorize Richard Franklin, George Wagner and L. B.
Wagner to build a pier head in Rappahannock river, near Urbanna creek, in Mid-
dlesex county.
Approved February 12, 1898.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Richard
Franklin, George Wagner and L. B. Wagner, or any one of them, be,
and are hereby, authorized to erect a pier head in the Rappahannock
river, about one hundred yards above the mouth of Urbanna creek, off
the shore of C. A. Taylor’s, and to construct a walkway to said shore,
with the permission of C. A. Taylor: provided, the same will not inter-
fere with navigation in said river, and be subject to all the laws of the
state governing wharves and piers erected in the waters of the common-
wealth: and provided further, that this privilege granted shall at all
times be under the control of the general assembly and amended or re-
pealed as may be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
