Chap. 196,—An ACT toempower S. N. Hurst to publish a pocket code of Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Sam N.
Tlurst, attorney-at-law, Pulaski City, Virginia, be, and he is hereby,
authorized and’ empow ered to publish on his own account and at his own
cost and expense a pocket codification of the statute laws of Virginia,
containing such sections and parts of sections of the statutes of the state
as he may select, with such notes, citations, references and other devices
as may be devised and emploved by him: provided, that the size of said
code shall not be larger than seven inches long by five inches wide, and
the type used shall not be larger than minion: and provided, further,
that the said code shall be published within twelve months from the
passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
