Chap. 193.—An ACT to prescribe the time for holding the cireuit courts of the Six-
teenth Judicial district.

Approved February 2, 1898.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the circuit
courts for the several counties of the Sixteenth judicial circuit shall be
held at the followmg times in each vear:

Washineton: T uesday after the first Monday in January, and Tuesday
after the third Monday in April and Septe mmber.

Smyth: seeond Monday in March, third Monday in August and_ first
Monday in December.

Russell: fourth Monday in February, first Monday in August and
Thursday after the first Monday in November.

Gravson: Tuesday after the first Monday in April and Tuesday after
the third Monday in October.

2, All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby re-
pealed.,

This act shall be in force from its passage.
