Chap. 472.—An ACT to allow William T. Lewis to erect a wharf on Chinco-
teague bay, in Accomac county.
Approved February 24, 1896.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Willian
T. Lewis, of Chincoteague, in the county of Accomac, be, and he i
hereby, authorized and permitted to erect a wharf upon his land o:
said Chincoteague island with a water front sixty feet wide o1
Chincoteague bay, subject to all the laws of the state governing al
wharves erected on the waters of the commonwealth; and provided
also, that this act shall at all times be under the control of the gen
eral assembly of Virginia, and be amended or repealed as may bi
deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
