Chap. 805.—An ACT to provide for the supply of water in the village of Swans-
boro’, in Chesterfield county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Chesterfield county
to contract with any corporation or corporations to supply the vil-
lage of Swansboro’ and the territory adjacent to the city of Manches-
ter, in the Manchester magisterial district, for the supply of water
for the use of its inhabitants and for fire protection, and create a
special tax, not to exceed five cents on the one hundred dollars’ valu-
ation, to provide for the payment of such fire protection.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
