1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it sha
be lawful to shoot geese or ducks, or any wild fowl, in the waters
Northumberland county, within the time prescribed by law, fron
battery, sink-box or skiff: provided, however, that no shooting sha
be done in the night, and no gun shall be used that cannot be sh
at arm’s length from the shoulder or without rest; but this priv:
lege shall only extend to the citizens of said county and person
who have bought property for gunning purposes in said county.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
