Chap. 754.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to protect
game in the county of King and Queen, approved January 81, 1890.
Approved March 7, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled an act for the protection of game in the county of King
and Queen, approved January thirty-first, eighteen hundred and
ninety, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
not be lawful for any person to shoot, kill or capture partridges or
wild turkeys in the county of King and Queen between the fifteenth
day of February and the fifteenth day of October of each year; nor
shall it be lawful to shoot, kill or capture deer in the county of King
and Queen between the first day of February and the thirtieth day
of September of each year; nor shall it be lawful to shoot, kill or
capture the summer duck between the first day of April and the first
day of October of each year.
§ 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall
be fined not less than ten nor more than twenty-five dollars, or im-
prisoned until the fine is paid.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act be, and the
same are hereby, repealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
