Chap. 728.—An ACT to authorize the auditor of public accounts to credit D.
Mott Robertson, treasurer of Appomattox county, with the amount of tax-
tickets returned delinquent for the year 1890, upon the production of satisfac-
tory evidence.
Approved March 5, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the au-
ditor of public accounts, upon the production of satisfactory evidence
that the lists returned delinquent and insolvent for the non-payment
thereof, for the year eighteen hundred and ninety, have been de-
stroyed by fire, which burned the clerk’s office of Appomattox county,
without default for said burning on the part of the treasurer of said
county, and that the amount of the said delinquent and insolvent
lists has been allowed by the board of supervisors of said county, be,
and he is hereby, authorized, upon a settlement with D. Mott Robert-
son, treasurer of said county, to credit him by the same.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
