Chap. 723.—An ACT for the relief of John R. Mesmer, a Confederate
of Winchester, Virginia.
Approved March 5, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, Tha
shall be proved before the corporation court of the city of
chester, and so certified to the auditor of public accounts, tha
R. Mesmer’s disability by reason of wounds received in battle in
the late war between the states is equal to the loss of a limb, then
the said auditor is directed to list him for a pension of thirty dol-
lars, instead of fifteen, as he is now listed for partial disability.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
