Chap. 715.—An ACT providing for the election of two commissioners of the
revenue for the county of Nottoway.

Approved March 5, 1894.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That at the
next general election to be held in the county of Nottoway, on the
fourth Thursday in May, eighteen hundred and ninety-five, and every
four years thereafter, there shall be elected by the qualified voters of
said county two commissioners of the revenue for said county, in-
stead of one, as now provided by law. Bellefonte and Blendon ma-
gisterial districts shall constitute one revenue district, to be desig-
nated as Blackstone district; Haytokah and Winningham magisterial
districts shall compose another revenue district, to be designated
as Crewe district.

2. One assessor of lands shall be appointed on or before the first
day of January, eighteen hundred and ninety-five, for each of the
revenue districts mentioned in this act, who shall assess the lands
in their respective districts in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-
five.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
