Chap. 697.—An ACT for the relief of Daniel Conley, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas Daniel Conley, a private in Moorman’s battery, army of
northern Virginia, by the explosion‘of a caisson, was so injured as to
render him helpless and unable to perform manual
no income or estate: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virg
auditor of public accounts be directed to list the said
on the pension list as he would a soldier who lost :
and that the same payment be made to him as to suc
payment to begin with the fiscal year of eighteen hund:
three and eighteen hundred and ninety-four.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
