Chap. 667.—An ACT to authorize the Prison association of Virginia to condemn
for its purposes certain real estate in the county of Henrico.
Approved March 5, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
Prison association of Virginia be, and is hereby, authorized and em-
powered to condemn for its purposes certain real estate in the county
of Henrico, not exceeding ten acres, situated, lying and being at
Laurel station, on the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac rail-
road, and bounded on the east by said railroad, on the north by the
road commonly called the Hungary road, and on the west by certain
real estate now occupied by said association for the use of its indus-
trial or reform school at Laurel.
2. The authority conferred by the first section of this act shall be
exercised upon the conditions provided, and the just compensation
to be paid for said real estate shall be ascertained and made in the
mode provided in chapter forty-six of code of Virginia, for the acqui-
sition of lands by a company incorporated for a work of internal
improvement, so far as applicable.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
