Chap. 666.—An ACT to regulate the killing, capturing, hunting, buying or sell-
ing or offering for sale of partridges and wild turkeys in the county of Din-
widdie, and to prohibit the catching of same in traps or nets, and to prohibit
the taking or destruction of eggs of same in said county.
Approved March 6, 1894.
1. Be itenacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful to kill, capture, hunt, buy, sell or offer for sale in the
county of Dinwiddie any partridges or wild turkeys between the fif-
teenth day of January and the fifteenth of October in each year, or
at any time to take or catch the same in traps or nets, or to take or
destroy the eggs of same in the said county.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be held
guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than five dollars
nor more than twenty dollars or imprisonment not more than thirty
days for each offence.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
