Chap. 664.—An ACT authorizing the Loudoun national brick, paint and manu-
facturing company to construct and operate a railroad to its property from
the existing railroad, near Leesburg, Virginia, by building such road or con-
tracting with some other company therefor.
Approved March 5, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
Loudoun national brick, paint and manufacturing company, a body
corporate by charter granted by the judge of the eleventh judicial
circuit of this state, be, and it is hereby, authorized to construct
and operate a railroad, to be run by steam, electricity or other
motive power, from its property, about three miles north of Lees-
burg, to the existing railroad at some point at or near Leesburg, not
exceeding five miles in length.
2. Said company is authorized to appropriate and apply enough
of the money paid on subscriptions to its stock, or received from
other sources, to secure all necessary rights of way, grade and build
said road, or it may contract therefor with any other company, to do
s0 in whole or part, on such terms as may be agreed on.
3. The rights of way necessary to construct said road may be
acquired in the mode prescribed by chapter forty-six, code of Vir-
ginia of eighteen hundred and eighty-seven.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
