Chap. 650.—An ACT to direct the clerk of the hustings court of the city of
Richmond to deliver delinquent capitation and personal property tax-tickets
to the person appointed to collect same.
Approved March 5, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
clerk of the hustings court of the city of Richmond be, and he is,
authorized and directed to deliver to the person whom the auditor of
public accounts may appoint to collect delinquent capitation and
personal property taxes, under provisions of section six hundred and
twelve of the code, the original tickets corresponding with said taxes
which may be in the custody of said clerk, under the provisions of
section six hundred and eight of the code.
2. The said clerk shall take a receipt for said tickets, and the said
collector shall, within twelve months after receiving said tickets,
return to said clerk such of them as he shall have been unable to
collect. ;
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
