Chap. 603.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of an act for the protec-
tion of sheep in Cedarville district, Warren county, by a tax upon dogs.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion six of an act for the protection of sheep in Cedarville district,
Warren county, by a tax upon dogs, be amended and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:
§ 6. The board of supervisors of Warren county may, in their dis-
cretion, allow out of the funds created by this act a premium of one
dollar for the scalp of a gray fox, and one dollar and fifty cents for
the scalp of a red fox, and two dollars for the scalp of a wild-cat,
upon satisfactory evidence to said board that the same were caught
and killed within the limits of Cedarville district, and said scalp
shall be thereupon destroyed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
