Chap. 520.—An ACT to extend the time in which Arista Hoge, treasurer of
the city of Staunton, shall be authorized to collect taxes.
Approved March 1, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Arista
Hoge, treasurer of the city of Staunton, be, and he is hereby, author-
ized to collect, by distress, levy and sale, all taxes, both state and
city, remaining due and unpaid for the years eighteen hundred and
eighty-nine, eighteen hundred and ninety, eighteen hundred and
ninetv-one, eighteen hundred and ninety-two in said city, which
have not been returned delinquent, and for which he has accounted
to the proper authorities.
2. The power to levy and sell for said taxes shall exist one year
from the passage of this act.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
