Chap. 509.—An ACT for the relief of A. W. Emberson, a disabled Confederate
soldier, of the county of Franklin.

Approved March 1, 184.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be, and he hereby is, directed to list the
claim of A. W. Emberson, of Franklin county, fora pension of sixty
dollars per year: provided that the county court of Franklin county
shall certify to the said auditor that the present physical condition
of the said Emberson is one of such incapacity as the result of
wounds received during the war that it is equal to the loss of two
legs.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
