Chap. 506.—An ACT to vest the title to lot No. 4,square No. 13 of the town of
Dunn-Loring, county of Fairfax, state of Virginia, in certain trustees, in
trust for the benefit of the congregation of the Methodist Episcopal church,
south, of Dunn-Loring, Fairfax county.

Whereas by deed bearing date ninth day of April, eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-nine, and recorded April twenty-fourth, eighteen
hundred and eighty-nine, on page six hundred and ten, liber H, num-
ber five of the land records of the county of Fairfax, state of Vir-
ginia, the Loring land and improvement company, a corporation
duly incorporated under the laws of Virginia, conveyed for and in
consideration of its desire to advance the interest and promote the
happiness of the people of that neighborhood to T. T. Taylor, R. 8S.
Porter and F. L. Brenizer acertain piece of land situated in Fairfax
county, state of Virginia, and known as lot number four, in square
number thirteen of the subdivision made by said Loring land and
improvement company, and known as the town of Dunn-Loring, to
have and to hold by the parties of the second part and their suc-
cessors forever in trust, to erect thereon a building to be used as a
school-house and for religious purposes, and for the use and benefit
of the neighborhoud of Dunn-Loring; and
Whereas there has been erected upon the said property a building
for the above-named purposes; and
Whereas the people of the said neighborhood have never evidenced
any desire to use the said property for educational purposes, and that
the congregation of the Methodist Episcopal church, south, of this
community is the only congregation which has shown any intention to
use this property for religious purposes; and
Whereas it is the wish of the people generally of this neighbor-
hood that the said property be vested in the said parties above
named for the ‘use and benefit of the aforesaid southern Methodist
congregation: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
title to the above-described property be, and the same is hereby,
vested in the above-named parties, the said T. T. Taylor, R. S. Por-
tor and F. L. Brenizer and their successors forever, in trust for the
benefit of the congregation of the Methodist Episcopal church,
south, of Dunn-Loring, Fairfax county, Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
