Chap. 478.—An ACT for the relief of E. R. Thatcher from an erroneous assess-
ment on a certain tract of land in the county of Frederick.

Approved February 28, 1894.

Whereas it appears from an order of the February term, eighteen
hundred and ninety-four, of the county court of the county of Fred-
erick, that E. R. Thatcher is erroneously assessed with certain taxes
by reason of an erroneous assessment of certain real estate in the
county of Frederick:

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
county court of the said county is hereby authorized and empowered
to hear and determine the application of E. R. Thatcher for relief
from said erroneous assessment; and the proceedings thereon and
orders in relation thereto shall conform to the provisions of chapter
twenty-four and acts amendatory thereof, and have the same effect:
provided said application shall be made within twelve monthe from
the date of the passage of this act.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
