Chap. 470.—An ACT to authorize William T. Croxton, deputy of A. R. Green,
late treasurer of Halifax county, and other deputies of said A. R. Green, late
treasurer of Halifax county, to collect certain taxes.
Approved February 27, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That William
T. Croxton, deputy of A. R. Green, late treasurer of Halifax county,
and the other deputies of said A. R. Green, late treasurer of Halifax
county, be, and they are hereby, given authority to collect by dis-
tress, levy or otherwise, all taxes and county levies assessed for the
years eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, eighteen hundred and
eighty-nine, eighteen hundred and ninety and eighteen hundred and
ninety-one, in said county, that have not been collected and have
not been returned delinquent, and the right to collect said taxes
shall continue for two years from the approval of this act.
2. Thig act shall be in force from its passage.
