Chap. 452.—An ACT to ratify, validate, approve and confirm the charter of the
Deis manufacturing company, and to make valid and binding all acts of said
company and all contracts made by or with said company since April 16, 1892.

Whereas on the petition of Philip H. Deis, William H. Fletcher,
M. M. Moffitt, George C. Videtto, Frank E. Wible, George E. Shene-
hon, Andrew Deis, L. W. Spear and Isaac H. Kurtz the corporation
court of the city of Alexandria, on the fourteenth day of April, eigh-
teen hundred and ninety-two, granted to the said petitioners a char-
ter of incorporation under the corporate name of the Deis manufac-
turing company; and
Whereas by inadvertence the principal office of said company is
designated in the petition and in the order of the court granting the
said charter to be located at New Alexandria, Virginia, instead of
Alexandria, Virginia, where the said charter was granted; and
Whereas a question may arise as to the validity of said charter of
incorporation: now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
charter granted by the corporation court of the city of Alexandria,
Virginia, on the fourteenth day of April, eighteen hundred and
ninety-two, to the Deis manufacturing company, be, and the same is
hereby, validated, ratified, approved and confirmed as of that date.
2. That all acts of the said Deis manufacturing company and all
contracts made by or with the said company since the sixteenth day
of April, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, under its corporate name,
be, and the same are hereby, validated, ratified, approved and con-
firmed and declared to be valid and binding and of full force and
effect upon the said company and upon all persons contracting with
the same.
8. This act shallbe.in force on and after its passage.
