Chap. 451.—An ACT to enable the clerk of the corporation court of the city of
Charlottesville tocertify to the treasurer of said city the lists of delinquent
real estate in said city for the years 1889 and 1890, and to give the same the
effect of a delivery made to the treasurer at the time of their certification
to the auditor of public accounts.

Whereas the clerk of the corporation court of the city of Char-
lottesville failed to make a copy of the list of real estate delinquent for
the non-payment of taxes and fevies thereon within the city of Char-
lottesville for the year eighteen hundred and eighty-nine, and alac
for the year eighteen hundred and ninety, and to deliver the same
to the treasurer of said city, at the times he certified said lists to the
auditor of public accounts; and whereas said treasurer is, by reason
of such failure, unable to make sale of such delinquent real estate:
therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
clerk of the corporation court of the city of Charlottesville is
hereby empowered to make out and deliver a copy of the list of real
estate delinquent for the non-payment of taxes and levies thereon,
within the city of Charlottesville for the year eighteen hundred and
eighty-nine, and also for the year eighteen hundred and ninety ; such
delivery to now have, under this act, the same force and effect asif
it had been made under section six hundred and thirty-seven of the
code of Virginia, at the time said lists were certified to the auditor of
public accounts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
