Chap. 435.—An ACT to prescribe the times for holding the circuit courts for
: the first judicial circuit.

Approved February 27, 1894.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the cir-
cuit courts for the several counties and corporations of the first judi-
cial circuit shall be held at the following times in each year: The
city of Portsmouth, the first Monday in March and September; the
county of Norfolk, the second Monday in March and September; the
county of Southampton, the fourth Monday in March and Septem-
ber; the county of Princess Anne, the first day of April and the first
day of October; the county of Nansemond, the Tuesday after the sec-
ond Monday in April and October; the county of Isle of Wight, the
fourth Monday in April and October; the city of Norfolk, second
Monday in May and November.

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby
repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from and after the first day of Janu-
uary, eighteen hundred and ninety-five.
