Chap. 430.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2850 of the code of Virginia,
in relation to protest as evidence.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
wenty-eight hundred and fifty of the code of Virginia be amended
nd re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 2850. The protest in all cases, whether such protest be made i in
his state or not, shall be prima facie evidence of what is stated
herein, or at the foot or on the back thereof, in relation to pre-
entment, demand, dishonor and notice thereof.
2. This act shall] be in force from its passage.
