January 8, 1875, entitled “An act to incorporate the Protestant Episcopa.
education society in Virginia.”
Approved January 22, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
four of an act entitled an act to incorporate the Protestant Episcopal
education society in Virginia be amended and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
§ 4. The trustees shall have power to make and establish, from
time to time, such by-laws, rules and regulations (not contrary ta
the laws of this state or the United States) as they may judge to be
proper for the management of the said society; they may also in-
crease their number to thirty.
Nine of said trustees shall constitute a board for the transaction of
business, and any vacancy or vacancies amongst the trustees, occa-
sioned by death, resignation or removal from the states of Virginia
or West Virginia, or other disability, shall be filled by appointment
of the board.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
