Chap. 366.—An ACT to amend chapter 152 of the acts of 1889-90, approved
February 28, 1890, relative to furnishing cigarettes or tobacco in any form to
minors.
Approved February 23, 1804.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That chapter
one hundred and fifty-two of the acts of eighteen hundred and eighty-
nine and eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an act to prevent
selling or furnishing cigarettes or tobacco in any form, or pistols,
dirks or bowie-knives to minors under sixteen years of age, approved
February twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and ninety, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
8 1. That if any person sell, barter, give or furnish, or cause to be
sold, bartered, given or furnished to any minor under sixteen years
of age, cigarettes or tobacco in any form, or pistols or dirks or bowie-
knives, having good cause to believe bim or her to be a minor under
sixteen years of age, said person shall be fined not less than ten nor
more than one hundred dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
