Chap. 328.—An ACT for the protection of fish in the state of Virginia.
Approved February 21, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
not be lawful to use fish berries, lime or giant powder, dynamite, or
any explosive substance, for the destruction of fish in any of the
waters in this state.
2. Any person violating this act shall, on conviction thereof, be
fined thirty dollars for each offence, one-half to be paid to the in-
former, and shall be imprisoned in jail until the fine is paid, but not
exceeding thirty days.
3. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with this act be, and are
hereby, repealed.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
