Chap. 307.—An ACT allowing fish-traps to be placed in Powell’s river, in Lee
county.
Approved February 20, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That William
Greene be allowed to erect a fish-trap in Powell’s river, in Lee county,
just above the mouth of the branch leading through his home farm;
and also a trap just below the muuth of the branch leading through
the Dan Dickenson farm, in which he owns an interest: provided
that no trap or dam shall impede or render unsafe the full, free and
easy navigation of said river during a good boating tide.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
