Chap. 261.—An ACT for the relief of John M. Peddicord.
Approved February 15, 18%.
Whereas by an act approved January first, eighteen hundred and
ninetv, certain qualifications were imposed upon persons wishing to
practice dentistry in the state of Virginia; and whereas the gaid act
further provides that persons who shall be engaged in the practice of
dentistry in the commonwealth of Virginia on the first davof Janu-
ary, eighteen hundred and ninety, and who shall comply with the re-
quirements of section seventeen hundred and seventy-four of that
act, shall be otherwise exempt from the provisions of said act; and
whereas John M. Peddicord was a practical dentist and resident of
Virginia on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and ninety,
but not in active practice at that time: therefore, :
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
said John M. Peddicord be, and is hereby, granted the same rights
and privileges as those in actual practice on the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and ninety, subject to the requirements of section
seventeen hundred and seventy-four as aforesaid of said act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
