Chap. 216.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to extend
the time for making returns of assessments for the city of Richmond and for
the county of Henrico, approved February 18, 1890.
Approved February 12, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tions one and two of an actentitled an act to extend the time for
making returns of assessments for the city of Richmond and for the
county of Henrico, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:
§ 1. That the judges of the hustings court of the city of Rich-
mond and of the county of Henrico are hereby authorized and em-
powered, each in his respective city and county, in their discretion,
to extend the time of making the returns of the assessments for the
city of Richmond and the county of Henrico until September first,
eighteen hundred and ninety-five, of the assessment provided for
under chapter tweuty-three of the code of Virginia.
§ 2. That the time of application to the judge of the hustings
court in the city of Richmond, and to the county judge of Henrico,
in said county, for correction of assessments, be extended to Decem-
ber the thirty-first, eighteen hundred and ninety-five, in said city of
Richmond and county of Henrico.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
