Chap. 175.—An ACT relating to the unlawful hunting of deer in the county of
Charles City.
Approved February 7, 18%.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person to kill, capture, offer for sale or buy any
deer in the county of Charles City, or chase any deer in said county
with dogs with intent to kill the same, between the twentieth day of
January and the twentieth day of October. Any persons violating
the provisions of this act shall be punished in the manner prescribed
by section two thousand and eighty, code of Virginia, under the
general law relating to unlawful hunting.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby
repealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
