Chap. 151.—An ACT for the relief of A. R. Ellerson, of Hanover county, Vir
ginia.

Whereas a judgment was rendered in the county court of Han.
over county on the twenty-fourth day of April, eighteen hundrec
and sixty-seven, and which is now docketed in the clerk’s office
of said county in judgment docket number one, page thirty-four
against A. R. Ellerson as surety for Morgan D. Tyler, on a forfeitec
recognizance to appear before said county court for trial on indict.
ment, which judgment ip for the sum of fifty dollars and the cost
eight dollars and forty-three cents; and whereas the said A. R.
Ellergon, surety for said Morgan D. Tyler, after the judgment was
so rendered, did capture the said Morgan D. Tyler and deliver him
to the said court for trial, and the said Morgan D. Tyler was tried
by the said court:
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
said Ellerson be relieved and released from the payment of the
said judgment, and the clerk of the county court of Hanover county
is authorized and directed to mark the said judgment, both upon
the order-book and judgment docket of the said court, as released.
Referring to this act as the authority for so doing, all cost of such
release and marking said judgment shall be paid by said Ellerson.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
