Chap. 14.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Prince William
county to issue the bonds of said county for a sum not exceeding two thou-
sand dollars.
Approved December 19, 1893,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Prince William county be, and is hereby, au-
thorized to issue and sell the bonds of said county for a sum not
exceeding two thousand dollars, the said bonds not to be sold nor
negotiated below their par value, and to bear six percentum interest
from January first, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, to be payable
at the discretion of the board of supervisors, at some definite time,
not less than one year from January first, eighteen hundred and
ninety-four, and not exceeding ten years from January first, eigh-
teen hundred and ninety-four.
2. The two thousand dollars authorized to be raised bv the sale of
said bonds shall be a part of the ten thousand dollars which Prince
William county was authorized to expend in building a court-house,
clerk’s office and jail at Manassas by act approved February six-
teenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and shall not be in addi-
tion to said ten thousand dollars.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
