Chap. 136.—An ACT to make Neabsco and Powell’s creeks, in Prince William
county, within certain limits a lawful fence.
Approved February 6, 1894.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Neabsco
d Powell’s creeks shall be deemed a lawful fence as to the
oprietors, occupants and tenants of the lands on said creeks within
e following boundaries, viz.:
Beginning midway in Neabsco creek on the line between Hughes
id Atkinson on the northeast side and Robertson and Dowling on
6 southwest side of said creek; thence down centre of said creek
its mouth at Free Stone Point Bluff; thence along Potomac river
low-water mark to the centre of the mouth of Powell’s creek;
ence up the centre of Powell’s creek to midway between the corners
Dunnington and Williams on the southwest side, and Carson and
owling on the northeast side of said Powell’s creek; thence with
e line of Carson and Dowling to the beginning at Hughes and
tkinson’s corner.
2. The act approved March first, eighteen hundred and ninety-two,
pealing so much of section two thousand and thirty-nine of the
de of Virginia as made Powell’s creek and Neabsco creek in Prince
‘illiam county a lawful fence, is hereby repealed so far as is incon-
stent with this act.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
