Chap. 133.—An ACT to extend the time of V. B. Gilmer, treasurer of Russell
county, to collect certain taxes and levies for the years 1890 and 1891.

Whereas V. B. Gilmer, treasurer of Russell county, Virginia, has
in his hands various uncollected tax-tickets for taxes and levies,
state and county, for the years eighteen hundred and ninety and
eighteen hundred and ninety-one, none of which have been returned
delinquent, and said Gilmer, treasurer, as aforesaid, has accounted
for said taxes and levies; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That au-
thority 1s hereby given the said V. B. Gilmer, of said county of Rus-
sell, to collect the amount due on said tickets for the years eighteen
hundred and ninety and eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and to
that end that the said treasurer shall have the power of levy and dis-
tress given treasurers by existing laws: provided that such power
shall not continue longer than one year from the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
