Chap. 101.—An ACT to amend section 3 of chapter 188 of the acts of the gen-
eral assembly of Virginia, session 1891-92, entitled an act to amend and re-
enact chapter 336, acts 1889-’80, entitled an act to amend and re-enact chap-
ter 192, acts 1885~’86, entitled an act to incorporate the town of Pulaski City.

Approved January 30, 1894.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
hree of chapter one hundred and eighty-eight of the acts of eighteen
undred and ninety-one and eighteen hundred and ninety-two be
mended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

$3. The boundaries of said town shall be: commencing at a point
nn the Norfolk and Western railroad one hundred yards west of the
couse of Cain Garner; thence north to the corner of the Thurston
ands, known as Three oaks; thence a direct line to the Altoona coal
nd iron railroad track at a point about two hundred yards north-
ve-t of John Owen’s house; thence a straight line to the house of
Jscar Slade; thence a straight line to the northwest corner of the
ands of the Midvale land company; thence around the northeastern
od eastern boundaries of said company’s lands to the new road
eading to Thorn spring; thence passing north of the house of Ira
). Hall to the northwest corner of the lands of the Monticello land
nd improvement company; thence a straight line to a corner of
he land of the Pulaski land and improvement company and the land
f the Monticello land and improvement company on the north side
f Peppers’ ferry road; thence following the property line of James
facGill to the northeast corner of the Lake Spring land and im-
yrovement company; thence in a southerly direction following the
livision line between James MacGill and the Lake Spring land and
mprovement company to a point in the property line of the Pulaski
levelopment company; thence westerly along the property line of
he Pulaski development company to a point, which is a corner, be-
ween the Lake Spring land and improvement company and the
Pulaski development company; thence southerly along the property
line of the Pulaski development company to a point in the centre
of Third street; thence westerly along the centre of Third street to
a point in the centre of Union avenue; thence southerly along the
centre of Union avenue to a point in the property line of G. V.
Litchfield; thence easterly along the property line of G. V. Litch-
field to a point in the property Jine of the Pulaski development com-
pany; thence southerly along the property line of the Pulaski devel-
opment company to the southeast corner of the Lake Spring land
and improvement company; thence around the south boundary of
the Lake Spring land and improvement company to the line of the
land of the Martin land and improvement company; thence around
the south boundary of the lands of the Martin land and improve-
ment company to the southwest corner of same; thence due west to
a point due south from the point of beginning; thence due north
to the place of beginning.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
