CHaP. 8.—An ACT changing the time for commencing the con-
struction of the railr authorized under the act of the gen-
eral assembly, approved December 20, 1889, incorporating the
Washington and Western railroad company and completing
the main line referred to therein.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia.
That section eight of chapter twenty-nine of the private
acts of the session of eighteen hundred and eighty-nine
and ninety, be amended and re-enacted so as to read ag

§ 8. The Norfolk and Western railroad company now

Washington and Western railroad company, shall be re-
quired to commence the construction of the said railroad.
