Chap. 74.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 14 of an act
incorporating the Falls Church and Potomac railway company,
approved January 24, 1888, as amended by an act approved
January 24, 1890, entitled an act to amend and re-enact section
14 of an act incorporating the Falls Church and Potomac rail-
road company.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section fourteen of the act incorporating the Falls
Church and Potomac railway company, approved January
twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, as
amended by an act approved January twenty-fourth, eigh-
teen hundred and ninety, entitled an act to amend and
re-enact section fourteen of an act incorporating the Falls
Church and Potomac railroad company, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 14. This corporation shall begin operations and work
upon its road within two years from January twenty-
fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and shall, within
five years thereafter, have its road completed and in oper-
ation from its starting point to Falls Church, in Virginia
If that be so done within that time, then this act shall be
forever operative: provided that after the completion of
said road from the beginning to Falls Church, or Fairfax
court-house, it shall be optional with the said company to
continue the same to the other points named in this char-
ter; and provided further, that the failure to build the
same to Falls Church, or Fairfax court-house, shal] in no-
wise effect this charter as applicable to the portion con-
structed, but the same shall continue in force.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
