CHAP. 73.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of the act
approved January 14, 1890, entitled an act to amend and re-en-
act section 8 of the act approved March 3, 1884, entitled an act
to incorporate the Virginia western railroad company.

Approved January 22, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section one of the act approved January fourteenth,
eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an act to amend
and re-enact section eight of the act approved March
third, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, entitled an act
to incorporate the Virginia western railroad company, and
section eight of the said act approved March third, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-four, be, and the same are here-
by, amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 8. Said company, or its successors, shall begin the
work of constructing its railroad within two years from
March third, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and shall
complete its main line in this state within five years from
said last named date.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
