CHAP. 723.—An ACT for the relief of the sureties of William H.
Gills, late treasurer of Appomattox county.
Approved March 4, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby,
authorized to receive from the sureties of William H.
Gills, late treasurer of Appomattox county, the bonds of
the commonwealth of Virginia, issued in pursuance of the
act of February fourteenth, eighteen hundred and eighty-
two, known as the Riddleberger bill, in payment of the
judgment for twenty-three hundred and eighty dollars and
sixty-three cents rendered by the circuit court of the city
of Richmond in favor of the commonwealth against said
Gillis and his sureties,
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
