CHAP. 718.—An ACT to allow more time to the deputy treasurer
of Greene county to collect back taxes.
Approved March 4, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That Joseph Smith, deputy treasurer of Greene county,
be empowered to collect the taxes that remain in his
hands uncollected for the years eighteen hundred and
eighty-seven, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, eighteen
hundred and eighty-nine and eighteen hundred and ninety,
the said treasurer having accounted to the state for the
same, which have not been returned delinquent, and that
the time for his collection of said taxes be extended for
one year from the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
